 Mason Gross faculty member, pianist Yevgeny Morozov performing works by Mozart, Prokofiev, Chopin, Liszt, and Bizet. Music at the Museum: Mason Gross Concert Series. New concert series featuring artists from the Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division and Collegiate Music Department performing at the renowned Zimmerli Art Museum on Rutgers’ College Avenue Campus. "Music at the Museum" features the program "From Mozart to Prokofiev - Flute and Piano Magic". Pianist Yevgeny Morozov and Flutist Amy Tu will present a recital of masterworks from the piano and flute repertoire. Program features solo piano works and music for piano and flute by Mozart, Prokofiev, Chopin, Liszt, and Bizet.

Sixth Chopin Competition for Adult Amateur Pianists, organized by Chopin Society of Houston, took  place on Saturday, October 25 in Houston, Texas. SIXTH ADULT AMATEUR CHOPIN COMPETITION | HOUSTON, TEXAS.
We are proud to announce that our piano student Yun Liang has been awarded the Gold Medal in recognition for her well prepared performance during the 2014 Chopin Piano Competition (Houston, Texas). Heartiest congratulations on this brilliant achievement!
The Sixth Chopin Competition for Adult Amateur Pianists and Chopin Recital performed by Adult Amateur Pianists, organized by Chopin Society of Houston, took place on Saturday, October 25 in Houston, Texas.

New York Flute Club. NEW YORK FLUTE CLUB | FLUTE FAIR 2014.
Chamber music performance at the New York Flute Club on its annual Flute Fair. Collaboration with Erin J.Bouriakov, associate flutist of the Metropolitan Opera. Erin J.Bouriakov, Flute, and Yevgeny Morozov, Piano, performing Paul Taffanel Mignon Fantasy.
Erin Bouriakov has been playing regularly at the Metropolitan Opera since 2012. Her 2014 engagements include concerts and masterclasses in Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Italy, and Switzerland.

Our students to be featured at Carnegie Hall. Congratulations!! Neel Patel and Julia Woodward, students of piano teacher Yevgeny Morozov (East Windsor, Central NJ) won the Crescendo International Music Competition (Princeton, NJ). The Winners Concerts will be held on January 25, 2014 in Carnegie Hall, NYC.

Honors piano recital at NYC Steinway Hall featured the most accomplished students of Yevgeny Morozov, who showed excellence in their piano studies. Honors piano recital at Steinway Hall, NYC.
The concert and awards ceremony were held at the legendary Steinway Hall, the beautiful headquarters of Steinway & Sons in Manhattan, New York City.

This was one of the very last concerts in the historic building before Steinway moves its headquarters to a different location. Honors piano recital featured the most accomplished students of Yevgeny Morozov - performers who showed excellence in their piano studies.

Kaylee Wang, piano student of Yevgeny Morozov, has attained the "Highest Distinction Mark Awarded to Any Student in the New Jersey-Pennsylvania-Delaware in the Practical Examinations Nov. 2013". Congratulations on receiving the award from the associated board of the royal schools of music (ABRSM).
Kaylee Wang (Marlboro, NJ), piano student of Yevgeny Morozov, was presented with the Award from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) for her outstanding mark on the associations exams. She has passed the practical exam with distinction, scoring 140 points, and has attained the "Highest Distinction Mark Awarded to Any Student in the New Jersey-Pennsylvania-Delaware in the Practical Examinations Nov. 2013".

Congratulations to our students, winners of the Cecilian Music Club Young Artist Competition (Freehold, NJ). Julia and Sofie Woodwards, students of piano teacher Yevgeny Morozov (East Windsor, Central NJ) won the Cecilian Music Club Young Artist Competition in "Ensembles" chamber music category (Freehold). For the competition, they were playing Mozart Violin Sonata No. 18 in G-Major, K.301. Winners' Concert will be held at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, NYC.

Performing at Tuba Bach chamber music festival in Big Rapid, Michigan. Tuba Bach chamber music festival, Michigan.
The eighth annual Tuba Bach chamber music festival began Sunday with a performance by Universal Brass Ensemble. Thomas Boulton, on trumpet; Dan Wions, on French horn; Yevgeny Morozov, on piano; and festival founder Ed Mallett, on euphonium and tuba, played 11 pieces in the concert. The program included wide range of music including works by Bach, Mussorgsky, Smetana, Ravel, Prokofiev, as well as Sondheim, Bernstein and Grainger.

Tuba Bach chamber music festival provides the Big Rapids area community the opportunity to attend and experience world-class musical performances. The Festival presents six weeks of unique concerts, by presenting a wide variety of musical styles and offerings — from intricate classical presentations and graceful dance to flourishing brass and boisterous Dixieland Jazz

Collaboration with internationally renowned flutist Paul Edmund-Davies, on his world tour that included a stop in US before departing to Moscow, Russia. Paul Edmund-Davies, Flute, and pianist Yevgeny Morozov perform pieces by J.S. Bach, Dutilleux, Hue, Faure.

Paul Edmund-Davies is widely recognized for his work with the London Symphony Orchestra, where he held the position of Principal Flute for twenty years.

NYC-based Universal Brass Ensemble (pianist Yevgeny Morozov, trumpeter Tom Boulton, and French hornist Dan Wions) presents a full concert on Friday, February 15th. The program includes classical, jazz, Americana, and Latin music.

The Ferris State University Festival of the Arts is an annual series of entertainment, educational and cultural events offered daily throughout February in Big Rapids.

 Piano master class, given by pianist Yevgeny Morozov at the Eastern Michigan University, was a part of the concert series performing on the tour of Michigan. Master Class at Eastern Michigan University (Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor, Michigan).
Piano master class, given by pianist Yevgeny Morozov at the Eastern Michigan University, was a part of the concert series performing with the "Brass Roots" trio on the tour of Michigan. The concert tour program included a very wide array of works by a long list of internationally renowned composers, including American celebrities such as Copland, Gershwin and Bernstein, and well known virtuosic piano solo compositions such as "Petrushka" by Stravinsky and Liszt's "La Campanella" Etude.

Yevgeny Morozov serves as a collaborative pianist for Conductors Retreat at Medomak, an intensive training program for conductors with maestro Kenneth Kiesler. The program offers conducting coaching, instruction, and experience with a professional, resident string quintet and pianist. Conductors of all levels of experience come from Canada, Europe, Asia, Latin America and all parts of the U.S. to take part in this summer's retreat. Distinguished artist-mentors lead an unique program of conducting, and Kenneth Kiesler, one of the world's most sought-after mentors to conductors, is the principal conducting teacher.

Concert will be held on Sunday June 3 at Jacobs Music, 1718 Chestnut St., Philadelphia.

 Jennifer Liu, piano student of Yevgeny Morozov, won The First Prize in Piano at You Got Rhythm Young Artist Competition in Philadelphia. "You Got Rhythm" Festival and Competition in Philadelphia. Jennifer Liu, piano student of Yevgeny Morozov since she was 4, won The First Prize in Piano (age 7-11) at the inaugural "You Got Rhythm" Young Artist Competition dedicated to Competition was presiding over a jury. Jennifer is a 9 years old and this was her first big competition. The competition consisted of two Rounds and took place in Philadelphia. Both the Gala opening and a closing ceremony were held right off the Rittenhouse Square, in the close vicinity of the Curtis Institute of Music.

Pianist Yevgeny Morozov, Mason Gross School of the Arts (New Brunswick, NJ), performs Liszt at Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall, celebrating the 200th anniversary year of Hungarian composer/pianist Franz Liszt's birth. The Carnegie Hall's tribute concert will highlight Franz Liszt's work, who was the most technically-advanced pianist of his age.
